NEW ZEALANDERS ABROAD.
TREATMENT IN AUSTRALIA, ALLEGED BOYCOTT REPORTED.. By Telegraph— Association.—Copyright. Sydney, May 3. A statement of a recently New Zealander to the effect that New Zealanders are disliked in Australia and boycotted by employers, has been published by the Sydney Morning Herald. Against this statement the paper sets the directly opposite opinions of threo prominent representative New Zealandera resident in Sydney. . One declares ' the statement utterly . absurd. .He added : " New Zealanders get 'along.;hero better than Australians do in New Zealand." Another said that New Zealanders were generally in demand owing to their grit and initiative. A third New Zealander said that Australians had the most cordial regard for their kith and kin in the Dominion. All agreed that they have never heard any objection to a New Zealander simply because he was a New Zealander. They point out in proof of their statement 'themany prominent positions which New Zealanders occupy m Australia. •
