It is proposed to revive the ancient, cußtom of awarding the Dunmow Flitch, and circulars have been set to the villagers asking for support to the movement, which, it is. intended, shall be of the nature of a carnival. The last celebration was six years ago, when two married couples stood trial for the prize.
