MEETINGS.

PITT-STREET METHODIST CHURCH. IN connection -with the Sunday-school jubilee services of the Pitt-street Methodist Church a grand concert was held in the church last night, and a fair number of the congregation and friends were present. Organ solos were rendered by Mr. Harold Gregson, who also acted as accompanist for songs and an operatic solo contributed by Miss Gardner and Mr. T. B. Rowe. items which called forth hearty applause. Impressive Scripture recitals were rendered by Miss Dora Ashworth and the Ilev. H. L. Richards. In continuation of the series a social reunion of past teachers and old scholars of the Sunday-school is to he held in the schoolroom on May 8 next. N.Z. LAND VALUES LEAGUE. A meeting of the New Zealand Land Values League was held at the Federal Hall last night, the Hon. Geo. Fowlds presiding. Messrs. P. M. King and Arthur Withy, delegates of the league, gave their reports as to the proceedings of the Unity Conference, held in Wellington recently. Messrs. Dearon and Peacock also spoke, and it was unanimously resolved to affiliate with the United Labour party, in view of the principles for •which tho league stands occupying such a prominent position in the platform of tho Labour party.
