W.C.T.U. CONVENTION.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.]
Dttnedik. Wednesday. The Women's Christian Temperance Union to-day passed the following resolutions: " That the law be so amended that youths under 21 years of age may not be able to procure liquor for consumption off premises; that the unions represented at the Convention are in thorough sympathy with work of the Bible in Schools Committee, and will give them all the help in their powor." The Convention protested against the retention of the totalisator, and expressed the opinion that women should be given equal rights with men with regard to religious instruction, and that equal wages be paid to both sexes for equal work.
