One very fine scene is the dagger duel between McClosky and tho Indian. Another very fine item is a " Florentine Drama." Apart from the glorious scenery and tho magni ficent architecture of tho buildings in this picture, the colouring is excellent, and the plot a very thrilling one, the final scene — where the hero, after escaping from a convent with the heroine, is shot dead as he is carrying the heroine across a river—be ing admirably worked out. Another attractive drama is " A Southern Soldier's Sacrifice." The comic element has not been forgotten. " The Man in the Taxi," is one of the best in this section of the programme, while other humorous items are, " Bobby as a Socialist," ' " Bertie's Wooing," and " Max Sets the Fashion," the hist an especially funny picture. "Hunting Brown Bears in the Rockies," is a first-class sporting picture, while in Pathe's Gazette all tho latest news from all parts of tho world, from the suffragette demonstration at Richmond (Surrey) to the latest stylo in ladies' coiffures, is illustrated to the best possible advantage. The programme will be repeated to-night.

" Tho Fools of Society," as well as a number of interesting subjects, is proving a strong attraction at the King George Theatre. " The Freshet," a thrilling dramatic story of a flood, is one of the chief attractions in the interesting programme being presented at the Lyric Theatre.
