CAMBRIDGE club. [FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Cambridge, Wednesday. The annual meeting of the Cambridge Golf Club was held on Tuesday evening. There was a good attendance, Mr. W. It. C. Walker (vice-president) occupying the chair. i Mr. A. H. Nicoll (hon. secretary) read | tho report and balance-sheet. Tho receipts | for tho year amounted to £62 12s 3d, and | the expenditure to £85 18s 9d. the overdraft .at date being £18 9s 2d'. The report referred to the success of the South Auckland championship meeting, held at Cambridge in August last, and also to the fact that the visitors wore unanimously in favour of the 1912 tournament being again held at Cambridge. The thanks of the club wero dun to Messrs- 0. C. Auckland, C. W. Sic Bride. T. H. Wilson, and A. E. Green for donating trophies. The report and balancesheet wero adopted. ! On tho recommendation of tho outgoing committee, an entrance feo of 10s for men and 5s for ladies was agreed to. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows:—-President, Mr. W. K. C. Walker; vice-presidents, Messrs. G. 0. Buckland and 0. W. Mcßride; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. R. Muir; captain, Mr- A. H. Nicoll; green superintendent, I Mr. Mervyn Wells; committee, Messrs. D. I R. Caldwell, T. Middle-ton, K. J. Wilkhv son; captain (ladies), Miss Wells; ladies' committee, Mrs. Caldwell, Airs. Nicoll, and Miss Middleton. The following now members wero elected: —Captain Sleddon, Messrs. .1. C. Sawers, •T. P. Ashor, E. Frazer, G. G. Taylor, S. Lewis, J. G. Kinnear v .T. Hally, Mcsdames Asher, Wilkinson. Sleddon, and Walker, Misses Hill and Williams.
