AN OUTBREAK AT WUCHANG.
Br Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright Pekin, February 23. A portion of the troops at Wuchang (the original headquarters of the Republican army) revolted. Fighting continued throughout the night, but the position is not regarded as serious. CELESTIAL REPUBLICANS. (Received February 29, 9.55 p.m.) Sydney, February 29. The local Chinese held a monster picnic to-day to inaugurate the establishment of the Republic of China.
