Boddie), and Messrs. Lusk, Julian, Tammadge, Hardy, ' '■■';, Finlay, Young, Sims, and Forsyth. ' With; ■ - regard to the proposed hospital funds at-, • 5 v tention was called by the clerk to the fact that a sum of money was lodged in. the : bank ■by the Council, ■ and it was ! necessary to' appoint truiitees to deal with ■'■', ';<',. the fund. Messrs. Young and Forsyth were appointed trustees. Dealing with •;, the electric light ■ Mr. Forsyth said he - would like to see progress made in the direction of providing the town with the light, The electric light proposals had been carried, and ho proposed that Mr. S. J. Crooks be written to as to the cost of a report on the scheme. The motion was carried, It was decided to rescind ' a motion limiting the Council to- contract work only. Two tenders were received;- j' for the reticulation scheme,'and as both tenders were in excess of the estimate it v; was decided to hold the matter over.
