j Business was fairly quiet on tho Stock t Exchange yesterday. In mining lines • Talismans were sold at 51s 3d, and moro were- inquired for at 51s, sellers quoting 51s 3d. Parcels of Waihis changed hands • at from 44s 9d to 44s 6d to 44s to 43s 9d, with further sellers at 445, and buyers at 43s 6d. Transactions in Waihi Grand Junctions took place at 27s 9d and 28s, more being available at tho latter price, I with buyers at 27s 9d. Sales were made J m Waihi-Paeroas at 455, more being on offer at that figure, buyers quoting 44s 6d.
