After the conclusion of the great Durbar ceremonies at Delhi the King-Emperor went north as the guest of the Maharajah of Nepal who unoged a great tiger hunt in his honour. During the shikar-as it is called-lhe Royal & party bagged 39 tigers, 18 rhinocen, and four bears- Tho King-Emperor, who has Imputation as an excellent shot. himself accounted for 24 of the tigers. In the photograph the King-Emperor and the Maharajah of .Nepal are *een on their elephants in the centre of the group.

Behind the advancing Italians is Tripoli and near the-mosques, which are- visible at the left centre may be seen smoke from steamers.
