Thompson, a resident of Randwick, discovered a man in his bedroom, and fired two shots as the intruder was escaping. The man called out that ho was shot.i While Mr. Thompson was standing on his balcony several shots were fired at him, but none took effect. The burglar escaped with considerable loot.
