FOOTBALL.
THE ASSOCIATION GAME. V.M.C.A. CLUB. At the annual meeting- of the above club, hold in the Y.M.C.A. Rooms, there were 55 players present, Mr. Ocorgo Adair (boys' work director) being in tho chair. The annual report, which made special mention of the fifth A team, winners of the cup and medals, was adopted. Mr. F. E. Cory was elected president and Mr. W. Browne hon. secretary and treasurer. The following- teams will be entered in tho various competitions :—Junior, third, two fourth, two fifth, and two sixth-grade teams. The. following- selection committees were elected pro tern. :—Fourth grade, F. Aickin and L. Williams; fifth grade, F. Maekune and J. l!-obeii.«on; sixth grade, E. Edmonds and Hoy Mcnzies The junior and thirdgrade committees will he elected on Friday aext at eight o'clock, when a meeting of all players above fourth grade will' bo held. The fees will be as follow Junior, ss; third grade, 2s 6d ; fourth grade. Is; fifth and sixth grades, 6d. The new club jerseys will arrive from England shortly. The Wellington T.M.C.A. are sending their fourth team up at Easter to meet the local club's team. Many new players have, joined the club, and a very successful season is anticipated.
