— » A MATCH AT HUNTLY. [BY TELEGRAPH. OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HUNTLY, Saturday. 'THE second round of 10 birds of the inanimate bird competition for Mr. F. Littleproud's cup was shot on Saturday, under the auspices of the Huntly Rod and Gun Club. Mr. John Hughes acted a3 judge and Mr. T. Moir, jun., as trapper. The hj«Jsest scorers were as follows, the handicap being in parentheres:—J. Young (12yds), 9 birds; P. Danks (12), 8: P. W. Garland (10), 3; A. Couper (10), 8; H. Evans (9), 8; T. Hodl<ay (14), 7; W. Stephenson (10). 6;. G. Gratwiek (12), 6. So far the competition is open, and the winner will be found amongst J. Young, who has 16 birds to his credit, T. Medley (15), F. Danks (15). F. Garland (14), A. Couper (14), r,vd H. Evans (14). In tho sweepstake of seven birds, ■which followed, and in which all shot from the 12yds mark, the following beaded the list.—T. Hedley 7, T. Broeklobauk 6, T. G. Stephenson 5, A. Couper 4, and J. Gratwick 4.
