FLIGHT OVER LAKE ERIE.
AVIATOR FALLS ON RETURN. By Telegraph.— Ykk Association.—Copyright. Ottawa, February 21. An aviator named Sandt attempted a flight across Lake Erie when it was frozen over He reached the Canadian shore, and started, to return, when the engine of his aeroplane stopped and the machine overturned. Sandt fell unconscious into the snow which covered the frozen lake. When he recovered he found himself saturated with blood from many cuts. Two boys saw the accident and brought aid, and Sandt was rescued. He is now recovering. He crossed Lake Erie in 34 minutes.
