STABLES BURNED DOWN.

THREE HORSES LOST.

[BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Gore, Thursday. A fere occurred at about 12.30 o'clock this morning in Collett's stables, leased by Alex. Gordon, general carrier. It started in tho storeroom amongst some straw and feed and spread rapidly.

A man named Cunningham dragged out two horses which ha/1 been suffocated. A third horso was so badly injured that it had to be destroyed.

The stables wore insured in the Royal office for £100. Gordon had no insurance and he estimates his loss at over £120.
