Gisborne, Thursday. 'As interesting point with reference to employment under an award was determined in the Magistrate's Court this morning.

A freezing works employee left on Thursday without, having given notice and his wages earned to that day were stopped. The inspector of awards proceeded against the Freezing Co. for a breach of award and a £10 penalty.

, Mr. Barton, S.M., held that there had not been a breach of award committed.
