The town clerk of Cambridge wrote asking ihe Board i,- apDoint delegates to attend a conference to be held next month to consider what steps shall be taken to improve the decking of the high level bridge. The chairman and Mr. G. Jarrett were appointed. Attention was drawn to the fact that mam- cattle wore out at night on v .me of tho streets. The clerk was instructed to write to the ranger notifying him of the. fact, and instructing him to proceed against tho owners of such animals. The annual meeting of the Leamington Domain Board was then held. The balance-sheet was submitted, and it showed the .receipts, including the credit balance from the previous year, to have been £615 lis 7d. while the expenditure was £315 19s Id. leaving a credit of £299 12s 6d. The assets were £325 7s lOd, and the liabilities £15. The report stated that 20 acres had been laid down in grass, eight acres of noxious weeds had eradicated, and a windmill and pump had been erected, in addition to other improvements. The balance-sheet was approved and adopted.
