A TUBERCULOSIS INQUIRY.
SANATORIUM TREATMENT.

It is announced that the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr. Lloyd-George, is appointing a committee of doctors and others, to report concerning, the general policy in connection with tuberculosis in its preventive, curative and other aspects. One of the objects is to enable the Government to provide treatment in sanatoria. The chairman of the committee is Mr. William Waldorf Astor (an American millionaire now naturalised as a British subject, and owner of the Pall Mall Gazette and other papers).
