Buxtox, the member for Temuka, has renewed his agitation for a reduction of the tariff imposed upon New Zealand produce shipped to Australia. This afternoon in the House of Representatives he gave notice of a suggestion that the Minister for Customs should consider the advisability of entering into negotiations with the Commonwealth Government with a view to securing a more favourable and equitable tariff. . He stated that the tariff imposed by tho Commonwealth against Now Zealand produce was really double that imposed in Now Zealand against Australian produce.
