AUCKLAND REGATTA COMMITTEE A meeting of the Auckland Regatta Committee was held yesterday atternoon in the secretary's office, Captain li. Parker presiding. It was decided that a letter of thanks be sent to the chairman of the Chamber of Commerce for free uso of the room for the night of entry. It. was also resolved that the lifeboat race bo sailed at a date to bo decided upon by. Captain Ross. Hie prize will be a trophy valued at £5, and the handicaps are to bo mutually arranged. The course will be from H.M.C.M. Iris, thenco round red Sandspit buoy, round the Mission yacht Southern Cross, thence round the coal hulk Dejiance finishing at flagship, twice round. ' AUCKLAND ROWING CLUB.
