OUTBREAKS OF FIRE.
SADDLER'S SHOP BURNED. [BT TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Inglewood, Wednesday. Ax outbreak of fire was discovered at 11 o'clock last night on the premises of Kennedy, a saddler, which were entirely gutted. . ''* The flames spread over the ceiling to the adjoining premises of Nicholls and Son, gi >cers and drapers, which were seriously damaged by smoke and water. Thebri. gad* was quickly on the spot, and saved the block, the splendid pressure of water soon enabling them to get the fire under control. Kennedy's shop is a total loss. The insurances are not available. INCENDIARISM SUSPECTED. [bit xeuegbaph,—own CORRESPONDENT.] Whaxgarei, Wednesday. ' At eight o'clock last night a fire broke out in a shed belonging to J. Harrison and Sons. The shed contained a large amount of inflammable material,, and adjoined Messrs. Harrison's furniture warehouse. The brigade prevented the fire from spreading into the warehouse. The damage is estimated at £500. The firm's stock is covered by the United Insurance Company. The origin of the fire is a mystery, and, coming after the mysterious outbreaks : during v the past few months in different parts of the town leads to suspicion of incendiarism. •
