BRENNAN'S" VAUDEVILLE
COMPANY.
These was another full house at His Majesty's Theatre last night, when Brennan's Company gave their fourth performance. There will be a matinee to-day, when children will be admitted at half-price to all parts of the house. The management announce a complete change of programme to-night, when a host of new dances, sketches, songs, and acrobatic feats will be introduced. Miss Eva Mudge will give her lightning changes through a transparency. Mr. Johnson will introduce his one-man quadrille. The last four nights of the season are announced. THE QUEEN'S THEATRE. Crowded again and again, is the experience of MacMahon and Loader at the Queen's Theatre. They change their programme twice a week, and do it well. " For a Baby's Sake" is a drama of intense human interest. The baby is taken ill on an island, where medical aid is not available and a girl swims to the mainland for -assistance, subeequently rowing the doctor to the rescue of the" child in spite of a choppy sea: "The Failure" is an A.B. story, dealing with the drink habit. The story is vividly told. "The Dummer Boy " is a Cines drama of more than ordinary merit, and the battle fields of Quatre Bras and Waterloon are depicted. "Beautiful Bologno " is a scenic study which shows the French seaport at its best. Industrial subjects deal with electrical cable-making and the intricacies of the business are clearly shown. • Comedy gets its chance in two subjects, which created laughter loud and long last evening. , : .■, ■ > VON ARX Von Arx and hia company of American, Vaudeville artists appear at the Town Hall, Cambridge, to-night. The Hamilton season was a triumph for the all American company, and their seasons at Waihi and Thames appear to be assured of success. OPERA HOUSE. * The Opera House '. was crowded last night, when the Fasola Novelty Company gave their second performance. The display of Indian magic by Fasola was watched with the keenest interest. The company will appear again to-night; PICTURE ENTERTAINMENTS. " The Great Redemption".and "The Mercer Regatta, 1912," are,meeting with keen appreciation by large audiences, at the Lyric Theatre. Other, subjects shown .are also particularly interesting. There will be a matinee this afternoon. ■ ■ •* i, The current series of pictures at the King's Theatre is a magnificent one, and the various films wore greeted 9 with enthusiastic applause by a * large ;'< audience last night. " ■", ;■' ' ; ,■ • The new programme to be presented by West's at the Royal Albert Hall this afternoon can be described as a .special: scenic series, containing as it does several charming beauty studies, notably, " The Great Lakes of Africa," "Norwegian Scenery," and "The Fauna •■ of -' Tropical Rivers." ," Road Hogs in Toyland" is a novel drama, worked entirely with mechanical toys, a special attraction for the little ones. .The dramas.are:{ "Kit Carson's Wooing" (Selig), " "Conspiracy Against the King," and "The : Kiss of Mary Jane." A most attractive new programme is announced for to-day. CONCERT FOR SEAMEN. A concert to seamen was given last: evening, under the auspices of the Flying Angel Mission to Seamen.
