ISLAND MURDER CASE.
[BY telegraph.—press association.] 1 .Wellington, Friday. Judge MacOoiuiick, of the Native Land (Court, whose appointment as judge of the High Court of the Cook Islands was gazetted yesterday, left by the Aorangi today for Rarotonga to preside at the trial of a native on a charge of murder. Detec-tive-Sergeant Mcllveney goes to the. island in connection with the same case.
