ROMAN CATHOLIC PRIESTS.
TRANSFERS ANNOUNCED. The following transfers amongst the Roman Catholic priests in the Auckland district are announced :—Father Williams, from Waiuki ;i to , Taunuurunui; Father MoMoy, from Taumarunui to Pukekohe ; Father McMillan, of Pukekohe, to be chaplain: to orphanages in Auckland city; Father Ormoad, from St. Patrick's Cathedral to Ellerslie during the absence of Father Tormey abroad; Father Wright, from St. Patrick's to Waiuku ; Father Dignan, i'from Ormond (Poverty Say) to Thames; Father Tigary from Thames to Devonport, until Father Furlong's return from Europe; Father Golden, temporarily m charge at Devonport, to Onehunga during the absence of the Very Rev: Father Mahoney abroad; Fathers Fordo and O'Malley, new arrivals, to St. Benedict's; Father Carron, of St. Benedict's, to Ormpndj Fathers O'Doherty and Skinner, to St. Patrick's Cathedral; Father/ Lerrane, appointed' curate at Newjnarkefc' and ' Remuera parish. The Very Rev. Father Brodie, of Waihi, 'will henceforth be known as the Venerable Archdeacon Brodie. The Very Rev. Father Mahoney and Rev. Father Darby have been appointed Deans. The Right Rev. Monflignor and Venerable Arch-Priest O'Reilly is also a new title' created. The Rev Andrew O'Earrell has been appointed private secretary to Bishop Cleary, and also diocesan inspector of schools.
