THEFT OF A CASHBOX.
[BY TELEGRAPH. ASSOCIATION.] ~ Dunedin, Tuesday. John Sullivan, aged 23, who was arrested at Christchurch, charged with stealing a cashbox containing £70 from Tattersall'o Hotel, was brought before Judge Willi una for sentence to-day. The accused, who follows racing, and was described as a " guesser," was sentenced to two years' reformative treatment.
