C. fatten, S.M., and charged with tho- office. Mr. Selwyn Mays, for the Crown, apled for a remand for eight days. "Mr. A. L. Denniston appeared for the accused, and asked for bail. ' • Mr. -Mays staled that other charges ir«re pending. Bail was granted in two sureties of £50, gt one of £100. and was forthcoming, icensed being then released. When the case comes before tho Court »uaiji on December 27, another remand w ill be applied for, as the investigations into Lennox's books,, which have been proceeding sine© August last, have still to be completed.
