ALBERTO RANDEGGER. ! By Telegraph. Press —Copyright. (Received December 18, 11.10 p.m.) London, December 18. The death occurred to-day of Alberto Randegger, musician, aged 79 years. Alberto Randegger, Knight of the Order of the Crown of Italy, composer, conductor, and professor of singing, was born in Trieste, and studied under many famous masters in the Old World. He went to London in 1854. In 1880 he was appointed ; at Her Majesty's Theatre, in. 1868 professor of singing at the Royal Academy of Music, and in 1896 professor at the Royal College of Music. Since 1881 he had been conductor at the Norwich Festivals, Royal Opera, Covent Garden, and the Queen's Hall Choral Society.
