HOME RULE OBSTACLES.
MANHOOD SUFFRAGE BARRIER INDEPENDENT IRISH VIEW. By Teleffrajdi.--Press Ameiatlon.—Copyright (Received December 18. 10.5 p.m.) London, December 18. The Leader of the Independent Nationalists, Mr.' Wm. O'Brien, speaking at Cork (his stronghold), declared that the Government's Manhood Suffrage Bill would be a serious obstacle to Home Rule.
This proposed extension of the franchise, said Mr. O'Brien, meant a reference to the country, when the Liberals would be smashed owing to the unpopularity of the National Insurance Bill.
