DEATH FROM BURNS.

Mrs, Bickford, wife of Warder Bickford, died last week from the effects of in- • juries received in an accident which occurred at : the Adelaide (South Australia) 1 : gaol on Wednesday week. She was cookins; her husband's meal when her clothes' caught alight, and although Mr. Bickford immediately ' went to her assistance, ■ she was' badly burned.'
