COMMITTEE MEETING.
A committee meeting of the Auckland Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club was held in the Sports Clubroom last evening. There ! were present. Messrs. C. V. Langsforti (in the. chair), G. Donaldson, A. [BY TELEGRAPH.—rRE33 ASSOCIATION.! "Wellington's Monday. A meeting of the New Zealand Olympic Council was held to-night to arrange for a conference in Wellington of delegates from tho various amateur sport* federations and Olympic councils in Australasia. The secretary of the New South Waels Amateur Sporting Federation and Olympic Council ' forwarded a communication on the subject, and stated that ho would be present if the conference were held. It was resolved to hold tho conference on December 28. Mr. A. Marrvatt was appointed the delegate from the New Zealand Council. Members generally were opposed to the principle of an Australasian Olympic Council* unless a good reason ,waj advanced in its favour. •
