WELLINGTON WOOL SALE.
A RISE IN PRICES. [DT TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.} Wellington, Monday. The local wool sales opened to-day. The catalogue offered totalled 6890 • bales, Americans were operating and gave a fillip to the . market. Prices were above parity to London, and id to 3d above the last Wellington sale.
Messrs. Dalgety and Company received the following telegram from their Wellington office yesterday " Offered 2620 bales; sold all but 50. Spirited sale, advance from id to Ud on November sale. Halfbvsd up to HAd, good Romney 10£ d, fin crossbred 9id, medium crossbred B£d, bellies 63d, pieces 7^d."
