GREY LYNN BOROUGH COUNCIL.
At. last evening's meeting of the Grey Lynn Borough Council there were present: Messrs. G. J. Garland (who, In . the absence of the Mayor, presided), C. Norgrove, G. Baildon, TV. Donald, F. Brineden, J. A. War nock, J. W.. Tattorsfleld, and F. Parsons. Some letters in reference to the pathways in Surrey-street were referred to the Streets ■ Comm A letter was read from Mr. .W. Scholium giving A letter was read from Mr. W. Scholium giving the Council authorisation to put the fence frontins MacJlasters's property at the proper boundary. It was decided that the work should be carried out at once. ■ - The question of granting Mr. .T. A. narnoct a rebate in respect of certain rates was referred to tho Finance Committee
