An advertisement for men to work at the building trade in New South Wales, *, inserted by ; Mr. Murray, of Sydney, resulted in an" extraordinary scene, at Covent Garden. . ~- Mr. Murray selected i bricklayers, plasterers, and" joiners from a crowd of applicants numbering 1500, who were clamouring round; the office where • the appointment was made. There was disorder when the men were - informed that .- the New, South Wales Builders' [ Association .was not paying/ the passages of the men.
