BUSINESS DONE SATURDAY. Thkrk was not a great deal of business done on the Stock Exchange on Saturday. In mining line* Wailiis and Wailu Grand Junctions remained weak, but business was brisk in Waiotahis and Waitangis. Sales were made in Waihis at 56?, later buyers offering 55s 9d. and sellers asking 56s 3d. Waihi Grand Junctions chanced hands at 29s 3d, and more shares were wanted at this figure, but holders asked 29s 6d. Talismans were bought at 48s 9d. leaving move buyers at that price, and sellers asking 495. Waiotahis were sold at from 5s Id to 5s 3d. Later sellers offered shares at 5s 3d, but buyers' quotation was 5s 2d. Waitangis were disposed of at 2s lid and 3s, Occidentals attracted buyers at Is 6d, while transactions wero recorded in New Sylvias at Is Bd.
