A DIVORCE CASE.
DECREE NISI GRANTED.
The divorce suit, in which a labourer named John' Henry Brown asked for a dissolution of his marriage with Rose Brown, formerly Crawford, on account of her misconduct with James Reardon, who was joined as co-respondent, came before His Honor Mr. Justice Edwards yesterday morning. Mr. F. Earl appeared for the petitioner, but there was no appearance of the respondent or co-respondent. The petitioner's evidence went to show that ho married the respondent in the registrar's office at Hamilton on June 12, 1909. Subsequently they went to Aria, when he was engaged in co-operative road work. At first they lived fairly happily together, but afterwards he saw a change in his wife, and her manner towards i him became totally different. On occasions ehe also called him by the co-respondent's Christian name. He also noticed that she commenced to get up unnecessarily early in the morning. One morning ho followed her, and she went to the store,, which corespondent assisted his father to keep. Some hot words passed, and respondent admitted her wrongdoing. u Petitioner said • he had learned since that the respondent and co-respondent were now living together. "'.•/'• :■ His Honor granted the decree nisi, making it returnable in three months with costs against the co-respondent on the lower scale. * .
