CANADA'S WATER POWER.
THE DIVISION OF NIAGARA.
By Telegraph.— Association.—Copyriebfc , Ottawa, November 30. The Conservation Commission, in a report on the allocation of the water power of v Niagara between the United ~ States and Canada, states that the Canadian share of -Niagara's water power is 1,016,000 horse-power. Half of this is already, in the hands of private owners. " Recommendations, are being framed : to prevent the private absorption of the remaining Dominion water-power.
