Tlio cricket match; New South Wales v. South Australia was commenced to-day on a dead wicket.. Rain stopped the match after an' hour's play, New South Wales having scored 79 runs without loss—Bardsley "31 arid Trumper 45. Heavy rain has set in since and continues.
CAN " BARRACKING" BE PUT DOWN?

The Cricket Association has decided to adopt strong measures to suppress the "barracking" to which the English team was unpleasantly subjected on account of its slow 6Coring.
