QUEEN'S THEATRE.

There was no diminution in the attendance ft the Queen's Theatre yesterday. Throughout the day large crowds of people kept coming and going, and the excellence of the pictures shown has satisfied every-

one. "The Squaw's Love," one of the subjects screened, created quite a furore of applause each time it was shown, and the popularity of this beautiful film was only rivalled by " Napoleon and the Drummer Boy." The programme will be repeated to-day, and a new series of pictures will be screened on Monday.

LYCEUM, ONEHUNGA. Tom Burrows, king of clubs and world's champion, who started his marvellous continuous performance of club-swinging in the Lyceum last Wednesday afternoon at 3 p.m., has been visited by a large number of people during the interval. He is going as strong a* over, and will finish his task to-night at about eleven o'clock. During his continuous performance he will have swung the clubs in shoulder circles over 400,000 times without a stop. Great interest is being taken in the finish tonight. A splendid series of living pictures is exhibited during the evening performance.

"IN THE GRIP OF ALCOHOL." The striking series of anti-liquor pictures entitled "In the Grip of Alcohol ' wore again screened at the Grey Statue last night, and picture after picture was enthusiastically cheered. BAND PROGRAMMES FOR TO-MORROW. The Garrison Band will play the following programme in Albert Park to-morrow afternoon :— "Distant Greeting " (Dunne); waltz, "Choristers" (Phelps); euphonium solo, ■' Into Thy Hands" (Anon) ; selection, " Don Sebastian " (Donizctij; morcean, "Druid's Trayer" (Dawson); intermezzo, "Twilight (Holloway); "God Save the King." The following programme will be rendered to-morrow afternoon in the Domain by. the. Onehunga Brass Band, under conductor W. J Rowe:—March, " Oollmgwood " (Pettee); waltz, " River of Pearls * (Rinimer); selection, "Melodies of Ireland" (Round); euphonium solo, " Jupiter " (Dawson); waltz, "Valley of Ferns" (Round); overture, "Uranus" (Raynor); march, " Viscount Nelson " (Zehle); " God Save the King." t The 3rd Regiment Auckland Mounted's Band, under Conductor Whalley Stewart, will play the following programme at the Devonport Rotunda, to-morrow afternoon:—Grand march, "Silver Trumpets' (Viviani); glee, "Chough and Crow" (Bishop); selection, "Geisha" (S.
