THE KING CAN DO NO WRONG.
"You can go back home and. cease from worrying; this great Australian Government will do you no wrong." said Mr. King O'Malley (the Federal Minister for Home Affairs) . last week to a deputation from the Federal Capital Vigilance Assoc!ation. The deputation said there were 229 residents in the territory, living on small holdings, who had no representation in the Federal.Parliament. Another thing was that they would lifce to share with the Commonwealth the increment in values arising from general prosperity. They had no desire to get off the land, but they wanted to know definitely when the Government intended to resume it. , Mr. O'Malley said that ever since he had been Minister he had been most anxious to resume the whole of the territotjy, and as to these and other matters brought forward they would all be dealt with by the .Cabinet at an early" date.
