CRIMINAL SESSIONS.
The criminal sessions of ' the Supreme Court were resumed yesterday, Mr. Justice Chapman presiding. The. Hon. J." A. Tole, K.C., prosecuted on behalf of the Crown. •:-"'•■•' Albert Bowden Williamson appeared to answer a charge of assaulting a girl. The accused was represented by Mr. Thos. Cotter, K.C., and pleaded not guilty. The case, which was heard with closed doors, occupied the greater portion of the day. The jury brought in a verdict of not guilty. ■'~ ;. ..-"'■:,■. . ■" /' , \. \ divorce court. ■ :;■ Mr. Justice Edwards heard two divorce; cases'vesterdav- i» •»f ," •« Ernest Campbell Denny (Mr. Mowlem) sought a dissolution of his marriage with Annie Mabel Denny. The petitioner stated that his wife left him, and was living with another man; *.*;A decree nisi was granted, to be made absolute in three months. *~_,., ~■,- • 1 " In the case of Emily Quarterman (Meesrs. Neumegen and Mowlem) v. Herbert Alfred Quarterman (Mr. Treadwell), wife's petition, a decree nisi* was granted.
