A vniEXDLT match was held on the Mareretu* rifle rangs between the Mareretu and the Maungakararaea Rifle Clubs, 12 men a-aide, th« distances being 200 yds. 500 yds,» and 600 yds. It [i resulted in a win for the .Msreretu Club by 77 points. The weather was not favourable for goodshooting, a very strong; wind was blowing, varying from between south and south-west, it was' very unsteady, hence the low scores, riio fol- ! lowing were the scores : —
