Anniversary services were celebrated by the "Wcslcyan residents of Avondale on Sunday last in the Public Hall. Appropriate sermons were preached in the- morning by flic Rev. W. Ready, afternoon by the Rev. A. X. Sootier, and in the evening by the Rev. G. Cook. Bright singing was rendered by the children, under the conductorship of Mr. Firth, the • music being supplied by the- Avondale Orchestral- Society.
