CROWN LANDS BOARD.
TUT TELEGRAPH.OWN CORRESPONDENT.
Dargaviixe, Wednesday. A sitting of the Crown Lands Board was held here yesterday. Mr. Armstrong presided, and there were also present Messrs. Trounson and Jones. There was a large attendance of Crown tenants, whose requests received favourable attention. . The Board, in answer to a deputation, promised to lay before the Government the need for an extension of the Kaihu line, four and a-half miles beyond the Waima terminus; also to support the throwing open of timber contained in the Waipoua State forest reserve for sale.
