HAMILTON ROWING CLUB. [BY telegraph.—own correspondent.] Hamilton, Monday. At a meeting of the Hamilton Bowing Club on Saturday it was decided to open the season on November 18. when the races for the H'aikato challenge cup. held by the club, will take: place. Invitations will be 'sent to t.he Xgnrunwahia, Mercer, iluntly, and Taupiri .Clubs, In ■ connection with the proposed new shed, .Messrs. Tonkin, Swarbrick, and Hollowav were appointed to meet the Beautifying Committee, to whom the matter has been referred by the Borough Council.. It was decided to issue £100 in £1 debenture* to the. public, 50 being taken up in the room. The following crews were picked to go into training for the cup rice:—No. 1, J. Bettley, E. Mears, A. Minchiii, and C, Tonkin; No. 2, Bevan. A. Ikmn, O. Fulton, and A. Manning. Other members are requested to form challenge crews.
