TRIBUTE, FROM THE MAORIS.

London, October 28.. Messages of condolence have been received by the relatives of the late Lord Onslow (an ex-Governor of j New Zealand) from King George and | Queen Mary and Sir Joseph Ward (Prime Minister of New Zealand). The funeral of Lord Onslow took place Guildford yesterday, Lord HerschelT' (.representing the King), Earl Crewe, ISsrJL. Cromer, the Marquis of Lansdowne, John Burns, and- Lord Halsbury at tented the memorial service at St. Margaret Westminster.
Sir William Hall-Jones (High Commissioner for New Zealand) was among the mourners. The pall was a Maori rug sent by the Maoris now in London. 15
The wreaths placed on the coffin included one from the New Zealand Government and one from Mrs. R. J. Seddon.
