NE CROWN FOR THE KING
By Telegraph.— Association.—Copyright. London, October 27. . King George will not take the Tower of London regalia to India for the Delhi Durbar. Ho will wear a new crown.
Queen Mary will take the Coronation Coronet, the Kohinoor diamond and the Royal robes.
The Coronation durbar will take place at Delhi on December 12, and King.Lieorge and Queen Mary will be there from December 7 to December 16. As, for the first time in history, a reigning King of England will himself be present at the function, the coming durbar is expected to stimulate the Indian princes to an exceptionally gorgeous display of that splendour of ceremony which is so characteristic of Hriontal States. It is anticipated that the durbar will be witnessed by at least. 50,000 people. A • feature of" the great event* will be the collection of valuable jewels tha, will be worn during the ceremonies.
