STRUCK BY A TREE.
SURVEYOR SEVERELY INJURED. [BY TKLT.GBAPII. —PBXSS ASSOCIATION.] Nelson, Sunday D'Arcey Irvine, Government staff surveyor, met with a serious accident at the French Pass on Thursday. He sustained a fracture of the skull through being struck by a falling tree. He was brought by. a launch to Nelson, and now. lies in a grave condition in tho hospital.
