At the Baptist Conference to-day the budget for the coming year was brought down and adopted as follows „.-.-.: Anticipated Revenue: Collections, etc., £1050; Young Men's Bible Class Unions, South Island £30, North Island £100 ; organiser, £50; special donations, £50. Authorised Expenditure: Auckland district (debit balance £134), back blocks £35, Epsom £90, Richmond £55, Morrinsville £65, Cambridge £75, Tauranga donation £20, Otahuhu (anticipated) £25, contingencies £40. ' ' ' • '" The afternoon was devoted to the consideration of foreign mission budgets. The Conference resolved not to express any opinion on the question of the Bible in schools. Rev.
