Blenheim, Monday. Early this morning an old two-storeyed house in Henry-street, owned by T. Davies, and occupied by W. Stevens', metaphysician, was totally destroyed by fire) together with all its contents. The origin of the outbreak is a mystery. The building was insured for £200 in. the Phoenix, and the furniture for £300 in the Commercial Union.

INCENDIARISM SUSPECTED. ; : [by TELEGRAPH. — ASSOCIATION.] Timaru, Monday. At about five a.m. a bathroom at the rear of Dr. Dryden's residence was found to be on fire. About £100 worth of damage was done before the outbreak was quelled.-' The damage is covered by insurance. There are good grounds for suspecting incendiarism.
