Applicants are required to lift a sack of flour. . McGarthyites are taken into a room containing a sack weighing 901b, and of course have no difficulty in lifting ,it from the floor. But when the wrong man applies for, a job he is shown a sack containing 1501b and told to lift it to his shoulder. Several men have been ruptured trying to do it. Such is the way politics in , San Francisco are conducted.
